Hello everyone and welcome to the embryonic stages of Tampa Sound. While not going into too much detail we wanted to give y’all a brief overview of what we’re trying to do here and open the floor to any suggestions / offers of advice and/or whiskey donations.

Tampa Sound is gonna be a website for and about the Florida music scene with it's main focus being on the Tampa Bay area. While we are aware that there are a number of other sites already trying to cover the bay area we aren't really aware of any that are focusing solely on Florida. The hope is to become a piece of the fabric of the local music culture while at the same time helping to educate and motivate an historically lazy music going public. We plan to do this via interviews, video, photography and a reoccurring monthly musical showcase at an as of now undisclosed coffee shop in downtown St. Petersburg.

No genres will be off limits.
No bands are too small.

The Florida musical talent is currently off the charts. We aim to prove it to you.
